Brewery Zötler Robotpalletizing

The Zötler private brewery has been brewing its beer since 1447 and has been quenching society's thirst for generations. Around 45,000 hectolitres of beer are produced annually at the facility in Rettenberg. The family-owned company is considered the oldest family brewery in Germany. Through a very positive customer reference, the company became aware of Profipack and immediately asked for a new palletizing system.

It didn't take long before the first solution proposal was sent into the Allgäu region. Profipack was able to score with an extremely compact and easily accessible system. The following parts were supplied by Profipack:gebin

  • The machine interface is located in another hall during pack transport. From there on, Profipack's pack conveyor extends to the grouping station, where the full beer crates are palletized layer by layer on a Euro pallet performed by a robot with a clamping head.
  • The same robot also serves as a depalletizer and places the beer crates on a deduct station. The individual packs then move through a check and are sorted out. Good cases move on to the second interface, the unscrewers.
  • Pallet transport, which runs through a cycle from loading to unloading, has also been installed. This runs as follows: From the double infeed to the depalletizer, further into inspection and sorting, to palletizing, with the following binding of the stacks and finally the double outfeed.

The customer is absolutely delighted and has already made the next inquiries.
